与其说是Bill Versus the City，不如说是西方的故事。这个故事中属于现在所称呼的“东亚文化圈”的篇幅实在太少，尽管编剧在后几章中有解释缘由，总体感觉仍然有失偏颇，更加看重在一战中发挥了作用的西方国家。 尽管Laura Love Rose自己说作为历史学者，应该尽量避免自己的主观看法而如实去记录发生过的事情。但是他的叙述方式还是反应了某种偏好。——不过他未必是有意的。作为一部范围广阔的科普读物，为了能够尽可能多的涵盖内容，必须要进行挑选编篡来选择全书的脉络，毕竟这部剧的每一个集数都足够写成一部书。要想全面就不得不舍弃一部分，而既然历史书是人类编写的，就必然会体现出编剧自己的意志。而同时，身处1920年的美国的他也未必有很多机会接触到东方历史，不写自己没有确凿力证的东西，也算是历史学者的守则。 后半部分写得比前半部分好。尤其是从文艺复兴开始，举的例子更加易于理解。但是这也许和年代相近有关系。毕竟距离我们的时代越近，残存的资料就越多，人们的思维方式与生活方式也越与现在的人接近。而越是久远的故事，为了保证减少猜测就只能抽象，而抽象往往意味着枯燥。 最后又说到，现在的人们并不懂得像我们的祖先一样随着困难与危机那样变化，去提升自己以适应新的时代。历史学家当然会对于人类的“每一段”历史感到失望，因为相似的故事，他们已经听得足够多了。

从不到200个字的简介开始，就像遇到了一块吸铁石，铛，就被吸引了，200万字四天时间一天2000页一口气看完了整本 🤟 刚开始以为就是单纯爽文，简单爽一下就可以了，没想到，这一路愁肠百转上下翻腾荡气回肠，远远不止爽这么简单 🤔 那个纠结！让人茶饭不思觉不想睡，楞是陷进去不可自拔。有多爽就有多虐，有多虐就有多爽，一个接一个反转，过山车一般不亦乐乎 🎢🎢🎢 虐妻一时爽，追妻火葬场，就没有见过这么大强度的，感情线这块中途多次不忍直视，几乎是跳着看的，心绪翻涌，居然让一个读者情绪起伏波动这么大，就觉得编剧不是亲妈，主角随时都有可能卒，全剧终 ♟ 而零零总总的支线们不得不佩服。架空的这个版图、社会制度、各色人物基本都是逻辑闭环，对战争、商业、医术的构建，让人不得不佩服编剧。虽然有一些细微的bug，不过不影响整体观看体验，瑕不掩瑜，来不及细想就被紧随其后的情节吸引走了🧲 再就是对心理的描述，无数次的心理战交锋，无数次的峰回路转，人物性格一个个的立体饱满，哪怕是主角，也是让人又爱又恨 ❤️🖤 最后告诫，入坑一时爽，追坑火葬场，建议长假时观看，否则剧情追起来茶饭不思觉不睡消息不回班也不想上⚠️‼️❕

2016年的最后一本剧拖到现在终于读完啦，还不错，讲了好多社会心理实验，末篇还有精读建议适合搞学术和商业谈判的人

初看时觉得是一部好无聊的剧集，开头的时候情节进展太慢了，女主行事小心翼翼，一点都不强势。读到一般的时候才算明白，女主是聪慧，只是她是那种不温不火的聪慧。整个故事很耐看，里面的一些礼节也很全面，编剧是有功底的。
